Addressing the session, Chairman Man urged agencies to comply with the requirements by Prime Minister Le Minh Hung that laws submitted to the National Assembly must be accompanied by decrees for the National Assembly Standing Committee to review.

He emphasized the need to innovate the thinking behind lawmaking, clearly define the roles of the National Assembly and the Government to improve the quality of legislative work.

The top legislator underlined the overarching principle of avoiding the backlog of guideline documents and legal gaps, ensuring that laws and resolutions, once effective, can be enforced immediately.

At the session, the Standing Committee summarized the first session and gave initial opinions on the preparation for the second session of the 16th National Assembly.
