At Monday meeting to review the first half of 2026 performance and set out key tasks for the last half, Chairman Man assessed that the National Assembly's activities have seen many innovations in leadership, direction, and implementation methods. The quality of advice, coordination, and responsibility for implementation has been improved, forming a new order and momentum in the National Assembly's activities.
However, the top legislator emphasized that the workload from now until the end of the year is huge. At the Government meeting on July 4, Party General Secretary and State President To Lam assigned the National Assembly to pass 80 laws and resolutions from now until the end of the year. This is an important and arduous task, the National Assembly Chairman said.
“The entire system must continue to thoroughly understand that organizational reform must go hand in hand with reform of thinking; institutional improvement must be linked to improving the quality of implementation; discipline must go hand in hand with responsibility; the ultimate effectiveness must be measured by results, by the quality of service to National Assembly deputies, voters and the people.”
Chairman Man proposed taking institutional improvement as the central task, thoroughly preparing the presentations at the first extraordinary session and the last regular session of the year, and ensuring the full and timely institutionalization of the Party's policies.
