UNESCO honors long-lasting cultural values of Thang Long – Hanoi

UNESCO representatives visit the Thang Long Imperial Citadel on July 15, 2019.

During his visit to the world heritage site of Thang Long Imperial Citadel on Monday, Mr. Matoko expressed his hope that Hanoi will continue to develop into a dynamic capital city to integrate into regional and global cooperation and preserve the capital’s historical and cultural values. He appreciated efforts by Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre in preserving and upholding the heritage, especially in heritage education program to help bring the heritage closer to students.
