In recent months, the US Government has taken repeated actions against Cuban medical services, a major source of earnings for the island nation.
As of late July, Washington imposed visa restrictions on Cuban officials associated with international medical services.
The Cuban government condemned Washington’s actions, describing them as inhuman, and said that the move aims to tarnish the Cuban health service which has long been a model of cooperation between nations.
