The two leaders discussed the Middle East’s peace prospect, US-EU trade relations, and Russia and Iran’s responsibilities for their destabilizing actions. They also worked on a sustainable ceasefire and political progress in Libya and Syria, EU-US cooperation in Ukraine’s issues, and Venezuela’s democracy.
Mr. Borell is scheduled to meet US House Speaker Nancy Pelosy, US security advisor Robert O’brien, and US President’s advisor Jared Kushner to strengthen the trans-Atlantic bond.
