The meeting took place as the US and its European allies continue diplomatic efforts to maintain international oversight of Iran's nuclear program while seeking long-term solutions to regional security challenges following the easing of the Israel-Iran conflict.
The two foreign ministers also reiterated the importance of greater burden-sharing among NATO members in line with commitments made at the alliance's recent summit.
They also discussed the Russia-Ukraine conflict and stressed the need to achieve a lasting peace that safeguards Ukraine's sovereignty and long-term security.
