(VOVworld) – VietJetAir and the US’s Boeing Company signed a cooperative agreement in Washington on Wednesday during Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong’s visit to the US.

Under the agreement, both will increase cooperation in fleet development, commercial services, training and management of flights, communications, branding, and finance.

That day, VietjetAir and Honeywell Aerospace also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the selection and installation of supplementary engine and aircraft electronic equipment for VietJetAir’s new aircraft fleet. The contract is worth 56 million USD.
