The project aims to strengthen overall capacity and build an elite, modern cybersecurity force capable of proactively preventing and effectively responding to all risks and challenges in cyberspace, while firmly safeguarding national security, social order and safety, and the lawful rights and interests of organizations and individuals online.

By 2030, Vietnam targets ranking among the world’s top 15 countries in the Global Cybersecurity Index (International Telecommunication Union–GCI), and establishing a regional training center for cybercrime prevention and cybersecurity in Vietnam to enhance its position and leadership capacity in the region.
By 2045, Vietnam aims to be among the leading countries in the Asia–Pacific region in cybersecurity. The cybersecurity industry is expected to become a key economic and technical sector.
