During a meeting with UNFPA Representative in Vietnam Matt Jackson, the Deputy FM said Vietnam is ready to play a proactive, constructive, and responsible role in related multilateral processes. He asked for UNFPA's support in terms of expertise, international experience, and policy recommendations in the areas of population aging, long-term care, care economics, silver economy, and promoting the role of older persons.

Jackson said UNFPA considers Vietnam an important partner and is ready to continue to accompany, support, share experiences, and provide policy advice to Vietnamese agencies in areas of mutual interest such as population and development, adaptation to population aging, long-term care, care economy, silver economy, and promoting the role of the elderly.
