The training course from January 19 to February 2 is organized by the Vietnam Department of Peacekeeping Operations at the Ministry of National Defense plus relevant agencies and units.
Since Canada and Vietnam signed a Memorandum of Understanding on military training cooperation in 2018, more than 130 Vietnam People's Army officers have joined training in Canada and other countries.
The Canada-Vietnam training cooperation has been expanded from language and logistics training to security training for military personnel.
