China’s Nanning Railway Group said a container train carrying 170 tons of calcium hydroxide departed from Guigang Station on Saturday afternoon, passing through Nanning International Railway Port for transshipment before arriving at Vietnam’s Yen Vien Station.

The new route is expected to create a stable and efficient logistics corridor for trade between China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Vietnam, while strengthening regional supply chain connectivity.

Nanning Railway Group said it plans to further improve the quality of intermodal rail services between Vietnam and China and enhance trade links across Southeast Asia.
