The congress concluded after two and a half days of deliberations conducted in a spirit of solidarity, democracy and high responsibility.

Held from May 11–13 under the theme “Solidarity – Democracy – Innovation – Creativity – Development,” the Congress reviewed activities of social groups and the national unity bloc, and the implementation of the Resolution and Action Program of the 10th-tenure Vietnam Fatherland Front during the 2024–2026 period.

Delegates discussed and agreed on the orientations, goals, and Action Program for the 2026–2031 term, while conducting consultations to elect members of the Central Committee, the Presidium, the Standing Board, and key leadership positions of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the new tenure.

The draft Political Report presented at the Congress emphasized that during the 2024–2026 period, the Vietnam Fatherland Front strongly promoted its role as the core political force in strengthening and advancing the great national unity bloc, reaffirming its responsibilities before the Party, the State, and the people.

The Congress adopted seven major action programs for the 2026–2031 term, focusing on enhancing public communication and mobilization, strengthening social consensus, promoting national solidarity, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people, improving the quality and effectiveness of social oversight and criticism, promoting democracy, and actively participating in Party and State building.

A total of 397 members were selected for the 11th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. During the closing session, the Presidium will announce the results of the first meeting of the new Central Committee and officially introduce the newly elected Presidium.
