Vietnam goes 77 days with no COVID-19 community transmission

(VOVWORLD) - As of Thursday, Vietnam has gone 77 consecutive days with no new COVID-19 infection in the community, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The Ho Chi Minh City Pasteur Institute on Thursday confirmed that AJI, an Indonesian working in Binh Duong province, has tested negative for the novel coronavirus, after a previous test was positive.

All 145 people who recently came into close contact with him also tested negative for COVID-19.
