The event was organized by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Vietnamese Embassy, Russia’s Import-Export Association, and Vietjet Airlines. Cooperation documents were signed between businesses of the two countries, witnessed by Prime Minister Le Minh Hung.
Both sides also exchanged the signed cooperation agreements to support the business communities to promote trade and investment cooperation and energy and science and technology (between Petrovietnam and Novatek).
Numerous memoranda of cooperation were announced in energy, science and technology, infrastructure development, digital transformation, healthcare, tourism, and investment.
Vietjet Airlines unveiled its plan to open three new routes connecting Vietnam's most famous resort cities of Da Nang and Nha Trang, with Moscow, Kazan and Novosibirsk. The expansion of the flight network is expected to contribute to strengthening air connectivity, promoting people-to-people exchanges, developing tourism, and facilitating trade and investment between the two countries.
Following the plenary session, the program continued with a trade and investment promotion session, introducing Vietnam's investment and business environment and cooperation opportunities with the Russian market.
