At the launch ceremony in Hanoi, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung said the platform will enhance transparency throughout the agricultural supply chain, enable the tracing of product origins, and help ensure quality standards.
He noted that the system will contribute to protecting the reputation of Vietnamese agricultural products and increasing their value in international markets.
The Deputy Prime Minister called for the early implementation of traceability measures for key agricultural products destined for both domestic consumption and export, particularly in major overseas markets.
The system comprises three main components: a consumer platform providing access to product information; a management platform for government agencies, businesses, and other supply-chain stakeholders; and a mobile application compatible with smartphones and other smart devices.
