(VOVworld) – National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has confirmed that Poland is a long-time friend and a priority partner of Vietnam in Central and Eastern Europe.

During talks with Jerzy Wenderlich Vice Speaker of the Polish parliament in Hanoi on Tuesday, Ngan proposed both sides identify areas of cooperation. She also called on the 2 countries to take measures to raise bilateral trade value to 1 billion USD in the coming years. She said that the legislative bodies of Vietnam and Poland should increase visit exchanges to share legislative experience, which would strengthen their cooperative bond.
