[VOVWORLD] - Vietnam's rescue team has worked tirelessly and braving dangerous conditions to carry out search-and-rescue missions in Venezuela following the twin earthquakes in late June. Over the past six days, they have helped to mitigate the devastating aftermath of the earthquakes and provided assistance to disaster-affected communities.
[VOVWORLD] - The death toll from the twin earthquakes in Venezuela has risen to 3,342, while 16,470 people were injured and 17,345 homes were damaged, the Venezuelan Ministry of Information said Sunday.
[VOVWORLD] - Venezuelan authorities said on Saturday that the death toll from the twin earthquakes that struck the country on June 24 has risen to 2,954, while many people remain missing as international rescue teams begin scaling back search-and-rescue operations.
