The PM said Vietnam is striving to become a prosperous digital country by 2030 by pioneering new technologies and models.

"To drive forward national digital transformation, we need a well-structured strategy, dedicated implementation, and a shift in the way we manage, operate, and govern our society," said Mr. Chinh.

The Government considers people and businesses the focal point, the objective, and the driving force and resource behind digital transformation, the PM said, adding that digital transformation should enhance public services and utilities for people and businesses while fostering resource generation for self-development.

PM Chinh laid out four key ideas for digital transformation: putting digital data first, enhancing online public services that connect with the needs of both individuals and businesses, building digital platforms with a special emphasis on national databases, and ensuring network and information security.
