According to the Singapore Enterprise Agency, in the first 4 months of this year, Vietnam maintained its position as Singapore's 10th largest trading partner. Bilateral trade reached 14.6 billion USD, up 43.7% year on year.
Singapore’s exports to Vietnam totaled 7.9 billion USD, up 8.9%, while imports from Vietnam climbed 133% to 6.6 billion USD.
The Vietnam Trade Office in Singapore highlighted continued strong growth in both exports and imports of machinery, electrical equipment and parts, fuels, petroleum and distillate products, bituminous substances and mineral waxes, and nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical equipment and parts.
