Responding to a reporter’s question about Vietnam’s reaction to the move, Ms. Hang said Vietnam calls for constructive dialogue based on respect for international law and the UN Charter, as well as respect for independence, sovereignty, and non-interference in the internal affairs of states.
She reaffirmed Vietnam’s solidarity and traditional friendship with the brotherly Cuban people, and called for the implementation of UN General Assembly resolutions demanding an end to the unilateral embargo and sanctions against Cuba.
