This is the first time Vietnam will host the full-distance IRONMAN Vietnam while also staging the 10th edition of IRONMAN 70.3 Da Nang.

The city expects more than 4,700 athletes to take part in the event week, including around 1,800 international athletes, an over 80% increase compared to its first season, making it the largest triathlon (swimming, cycling, running) festival ever held in Vietnam. The event week is expected to reinforce Da Nang’s position as one of Asia’s leading sports tourism destinations.

On Sunday, athletes will gather at East Sea Park to start the race. The tournaments will take participants through a course that meets international standard, featuring iconic coastal roads, honoring the natural beauty and urban landscape of Da Nang.

This year, organizer Sunrise Events Vietnam also introduced SEVConcierge, an intelligent digital assistant that helps athletes look up information about the races and discover local attractions and services.

Mark Allen, six-time champion at the IRONMAN World Championship and Yee Sze Mun, who was honored at the IRONMAN Hall of Fame, will attend this year's event week.

According to Sunrise Events Vietnam, the past nine seasons of the event week have generated an estimated 65 million USD in economic value. In 2025 alone, the event generated more than 9 million USD, demonstrating the strong appeal of Da Nang's sports tourism.
