Prime Minister Phuc said the two countries should enhance trade and investment, adding that Vietnam will ensure a stable and long-term rice supply for the Philippines since food security is so important during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Phuc said the upcoming 45th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties is an opportunity to enhance the relationship. He asked the Ambassador to cooperate with Vientamese agencies to organize celebration events. Mr. Phuc said he is confident that Mr. Montealegre will have a successful term in Vietnam.
