The top leader brief them on national situation and the flourishing Vietnam-Thailand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. He said that a focus of his meetings with high-ranking Thai leaders on this visit is calling on Thailand continue to create favorable conditions for the Vietnamese community to settle down, integrate well, and play a role as a bridge of friendship between the people of the two countries.

Applauding the solidarity and efforts of in developing the Vietnamese community in Thailand, the General Secretary and President expressed his wish, saying, "I especially place my trust in the young generation of Vietnamese people in Thailand. They have the advantage of growing up in an integrated environment, understanding Thai culture, while being grounded in their Vietnamese ancestry. May they become youthful, dynamic bridges, contributing to cooperative relations between the two countries."

On this occasion, General Secretary and President Lam presented the General Association of Vietnamese People in Thailand with a portrait of President Ho Chi Minh and a bookshelf containing over 200 books on culture, history, and Vietnamese language textbooks.
