Vietnam's ASEAN Chair Year 2020 reviewed

(VOVWORLD) - The Ministry of Information and Communications organized a seminar with the media on Friday to review Vietnam's ASEAN Chairmanship for 2020, evaluate the communication activities for the event, and develop a communication plan for the next five years.

Addressing the event, Trieu Minh Long, Director of the International Cooperation Department, said that Vietnam's ASEAN Chair Year 2020 was a great success despite many difficulties and challenges, especially the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic.

The achievement was partly attributed to contributions from press agencies.

Speakers at the seminar briefed reporters on the main outcomes of the 2020 ASEAN Year and a communication orientation towards 2025.
