Addressing an international conference in Hanoi on Tuesday on the role of supreme audit institutions in a changing world, Mr. Nghia said the agency is embracing innovation and stands ready to cooperate in addressing common challenges.
“The State Audit Office of Vietnam is focusing on developing its strategy until 2035, with a vision to 2045, while revising the State Audit Law. This conference therefore provides an excellent opportunity for us to learn from the experience of other supreme audit institutions,” he said.
Participants discussed the use of technology and digital transformation, as well as the role of supreme audit institutions in controlling power and combating corruption, wastefulness, and other forms of misconduct.
