As part of the campaign, 1 billion VND (around 38,000 USD) worth of seedlings will be planted and cultivated at the Cu Lao Cham-Hoi An World Biosphere Reserve from 2026 to 2030, to help restore forests, preserve biodiversity, and improve climate change adaptation here.

The campaign also includes environmental education, communication to raise public awareness on natural conservation, and a number of community activities like cycling for the environment, reducing plastic waste, and promoting green lifestyles.

Deputy director of the biosphere reserve's managing board, Nguyen Hung Linh, said: “This campaign is about promoting nature conservation, ecosystem restoration, enrichment planting of native species, environmental communication and education, and raising community awareness. Each tree grown represents a commitment to a greener future.”
