The VinFuture Prize 2026 has not only expanded its influence within the international scientific community, but also reaffirmed its role as a prestigious award honoring breakthroughs capable of shaping humanity’s future.
This year’s nominations span a wide range of key fields, including medicine and healthcare, environment and earth sciences, energy, transportation and construction, as well as science and technology.
Notably, more than 1,400 of VinFuture 2026’s nomination partners are among the world’s top 2% most-cited researchers.
Following the nomination phase, the VinFuture Pre-Screening Committee will evaluate and shortlist the most outstanding works for final review by the VinFuture Prize Council, with the process expected to continue through early September 2026.
A grand prize worth 3 million USD will be awarded to breakthrough scientific research and technological innovations proven to improve quality of life and contribute to a more equitable and sustainable world for future generations. Three additional special prizes worth 500,000 USD each will also be presented.
