Representatives of the three delegations said that the event, organized by the General Political Department of the Vietnam People's Army, was held to implement the shared understanding reached by the defense ministers of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
The program helped deepen mutual understanding, build trust, and further promote the longstanding friendship and solidarity among the three nations.
The exchange also provided a platform for young officers to share experiences in leadership, command, training, combat readiness, and political education. Participants discussed innovative approaches and best practices in scientific research, digital transformation, innovation, and youth activities in the military.
As part of the program, the officers paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and General Vo Nguyen Giap, visited museums and historical sites, and joined cultural, artistic and sporting exchanges. They also visited the Vietnam–Laos–Cambodia border marker, planted trees, and took part in social welfare activities.
