Pursuant to Judgment No. 16/2025/HN-ST dated March 04, 2025, the Court ruled as follows:
1. The petition filed by Mr. Doan Hoang Khai is accepted.
- Marriage: The marriage between Mr. Doan Hoang Khai and Ms. Lam Thanh Nhi is legally dissolved.
- Children: No issues require adjudication.
- Common property and debts: No issues require adjudication.
2. Court fees and other legal expenses:
- Court fees: Mr. Doan Hoang Khai shall pay 300,000 VND in first-instance civil court fees. The amount has been deducted from the advance payments made under receipts No.0014938 dated February 29, 2024, at the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Vinh Long province, and has been fully paid.
- Other legal expenses: Mr. Doan Hoang Khai shall pay 200,000 VND for overseas judicial entrustment. This amount has been deducted from the advance payments made under receipts No. 0014947 dated March 07, 2024, at the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Vinh Long province, and has been fully paid.
The case was heard at a public first-instance trial conducted in the absence of both the plaintiff, Mr. Doan Hoang Khai, and the defendant, Ms. Lam Thanh Nhi.
The plaintiff has the right to appeal the judgment within 15 days from the date on which the judgment is duly served or lawfully posted in accordance with applicable legal regulations.
The defendant has the right to appeal the judgment within 12 months from the date of its pronouncement.
