Soldier Coffee (CF15) attracted more than 1,000 visitors and drew interest from dozens of potential business partners at the Vietnam-Cambodia Business Networking and Product Promotion Exposition (VIDEX Cambodia 2026), held recently in Phnom Penh.
Soldier Coffee represents the soldiers who have worked closely with local communities over the past 30 years, helping to develop the local economy and provide livelihoods for thousands of households in the region.
“We’ve been growing coffee for nearly 30 years. With support from Coffee Company No. 15, our production has improved, and we're very happy with the results. I hope the brand will reach a wider market,” farmer Tran Van Trong said.
Discipline, responsibility, and determination - key soldier qualities - are reflected in the way Coffee Company No. 15 works, from growing and processing to packaging and marketing. It keeps investing in modern equipment and improving its production process to make higher-quality coffee products and earn consumers' trust.
Colonel Le Trung Thanh, the company’s Chairman and Director, said that deep, value-added processing is essential to fully unlock the potential of each value chain, creating jobs, supporting workers, and benefiting society as a whole.
Every stage of production is closely monitored to ensure consistent product quality and flavor, said Hoang Ngoc Long, a technical officer at Coffee Company No. 15, said that the process involves checking moisture levels and bean size, and setting the right processing standards for each product. “Each batch of roasted coffee is then carefully checked before being packaged and delivered to consumers.”
The Soldier Coffee brand has been awarded a four-star rating under Vietnam's OCOP program. Its products are also certified as organic under both US and European Union standards. These certifications, along with new business links in the region, serve as the steppingstone for the brand to access international markets.
“We aim to develop green, circular production, with these certifications serving as a passport for Soldier Coffee to enter regional and global markets. The brand should reflect the growing areas and people of the Central Highlands,” Colonel Thanh said.
“We want to produce clean, high-quality coffee, with the discipline of soldiers behind every product and our goal is to build a strong regional brand and eventually bring Soldier Coffee to the world.”
Soldier Coffee is a prime example of how soldiers can serve their country in peacetime by contributing to economic development, supporting the local community, and helping the country reach out to the world.
