Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of Coast Guard Region 2, highlighted Sa Huynh’s historical and cultural significance as well as its strategic role in marine economic development, tourism, and national defense in central Vietnam.

He urged fishermen to comply with fishing regulations, complete vessel registration and inspection procedures, install vessel monitoring systems (VMS), and avoid violating foreign waters in order to support sustainable fisheries and protect national sovereignty at sea.

The organizers presented 50 gift packages worth 40 USD each to disadvantaged fishing families, while distributing legal guidance materials and national flags to local fishermen.
