Much attention is paid to the match between Cape Verde, the team from the small African island nation making its World Cup debut, and Argentina, the reigning World Cup champions with superstar Lionel Messi.

The remaining knockout pairings will be determined on Sunday.

The 2026 World Cup is expected to break more attendance records as fans from around the world flock to North America to watch the knockout matches. Morocco's national airline, Royal Air, announced on Friday it will operate six special direct flights from Casablanca to Monterrey (Mexico) from June 27 to 29, along with six return flights from June 30 to July 2.

A total of over 3,000 tickets will be available for fans. This marks the first time Royal Air Morocco has operated direct flights to Monterrey. The flights will be operated using new generation long-haul aircraft, with a flight time of 11 hours each way. Round-trip economy class tickets are priced at around 1,100 USD. Tickets would be non-refundable and non-changeable in order to allow as many fans as possible to attend the match, the airline said.
