Located at the eastern end of False Creek, Science World sits steps from BC Place, the city's World Cup venue. According to Sebastian Munoz, Senior Exhibition Design Manager at Science World, the exhibition helps connect football, technology, and science education.

"So we have had an influx of visitors just coming to see the exhibit, because it's so close to the stadium, so in the off days, we have a big influx of all the people that are going to watch the games. We have seen people from Australians to Egyptians, so all of the people...New Zealand, and everybody here, especially for the kids here too, for the local kids. There have been a lot Canada's jerseys around and they have been super excited about the exhibit," Munoz said.

Visitors can explore five themed zones - Broadcasting and Media, Intelligent Data, Refereeing and Fair Play, Staging the Game, and Innovation Lab - each illustrating the role of technology in modern soccer.

The exhibition also features artefacts linked to Canadian football, including a match jersey worn by legendary player Christine Sinclair at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics final and the match ball from Canada's game against Croatia at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Soccer & Technology from the FIFA Museum runs at Science World in Vancouver until September 7.
