During the working trip from June 10 to 17, as a member of the FIFA National Team Competitions Committee, Tuan has been engaging in major FIFA activities alongside the biggest football event in the world, where for the first time 48 national teams are competing.
Following activities in Mexico, the VFF leader continues his journey to Miami (USA) to attend the FIFA Summit 2026, a gathering of leaders of FIFA member federations, to discuss strategic development directions for global football in the new era.
Besides professional sessions, he will meet and exchange ideas with FIFA leaders and representatives from member federations to foster international cooperation and expand opportunities for Vietnamese football in the future.
As planned, the VFF delegation will also watch several group stage matches of the World Cup, including the Saudi Arabia vs Uruguay game in Miami (USA) on June 15.
