To date, sample collection has been completed at 10 of the 11 cemeteries in the province. Binh Thuan Martyrs' Cemetery is the final (11th) site where the campaign is being carried out. It also holds the largest number of graves in the province—nearly 9,000 in total—with over 3,400 requiring sample collection for identification purposes.

As of August 8, sampling teams had excavated over 2,800 graves and collected nearly 2,500 viable samples for forensic analysis. Teams are currently accelerating the sampling process at the cemetery, with completion expected before August 15—three months ahead of the original schedule.
