Hundreds of VOV employees from different generations gathered at VOV headquarters at 58 Quan Su Street in Hanoi this morning to celebrate VOV’s 81st anniversary.
Nguyen Minh Thuy, an editor with VOV’s Department of Literature, Arts and Music (VOV3), said: “Everything has been beautifully decorated and everyone is excited to celebrate. I’m happy, more passionate than ever about my work, and proud to be an editor at the Voice of Vietnam.”
Nguyen Anh Vu of the Personnel Organization and International Cooperation Department said: “There are many activities for this year’s anniversary. They give each person and each generation a chance to reflect and look back at VOV’s remarkable development through different periods.”
The 2026 VOV Fair brought together all the departments of VOV. Stalls offered a variety of local specialty foods, books, newspapers, cultural items, and electronic equipment.
Nguyen Thuy Linh, Secretary of the Youth Union of VOVWORLD, said: “We have salted egg sponge cakes and traditional Vietnamese cakes. We made these cakes ourselves and decorated them in eye-catching red and blue. We brought 81 boxes to the fair.”
The fair included cultural performances and sporting competitions. Tran Quang Huy of the Program Production and Archives Center said: “Today, I’m joining the tug-of-war as a representative of our center. Each team consists of five men and five women. The atmosphere is fun and exciting. I hope VOV will organize more sporting activities like this so the staff can meet, socialize, and strengthen their connections.”
