In 2015 the Vietnam-Republic of Korea Free Trade Agreement took effect and Vietnam signed a Free Trade Agreement with the EU, completed negotiations on the Transpacific Partnership Agreement with 11 other members, and joined other Southeast Asian countries in establishing the ASEAN Community. These events reflect Vietnam’s accelerating integration into the global economy and its increased global status.

(VOVworld) - The British Council signed agreements with Voice of Vietnam to broadcast the LearnEnglish Obla Air Radio show on VOV5 from 1 and VOV2 from 6 October 2015.
