The highlight will be the Viettel Y-Fest 2026 concert on Saturday evening, featuring popular Vietnamese artists Hoa Minzy, Anh Tu, Phuong Ly, Double2T and Lam Bao Ngoc.
Visitors can explore Viettel’s 5G technology, Tammi and TV360 applications, and gift-exchange area. There will also be displays of OCOP products and local specialties, and a food zone featuring more than 100 stalls.
The festival will showcase the rich cultural diversity of Lai Chau through community performances and a colorful street carnival featuring the Thai, Mong, Dao, Giay and Lu ethnic groups. On Sunday, the “Steps on the Clouds” mountain race will take place along the Pa Vy ancient stone road in Sin Suoi Ho commune.
Tran Quang Khang, Deputy Director of the Lai Chau Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and a member of the festival’s organizing committee, said: “We hope the festival will help showcase Lai Chau’s potential and advantages, particularly its rich traditional cultural heritage and warm, welcoming people, thereby attracting more investment and visitors.”
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Nguyen, the Director of Viettel Lai Chau, said: “We’ll give the audience state-of-the-art experiences in sound and lighting, and opportunities to interact with many well-known artists.”
