Dear Vietnamese compatriots living, working, and studying abroad, 

As we welcome the New Year 2025, on behalf of the Voice of Vietnam, I extend my heartfelt wishes for health, success, and happiness to all of you—our valued listeners and the overseas Vietnamese community! 

Dear listeners and fellow Vietnamese overseas,

2024 has been a year of remarkable achievements for Vietnam across all facets of society. The economy has grown in both scale and quality, significantly enhancing the material and spiritual well-being of our people. Vietnam’s international relationships have deepened, and the country continues to play an active role in promoting global peace, stability, and development. 

Throughout the nation, major projects have been completed or are well underway, transforming rural landscapes and highlighting the creativity and intelligence of the Vietnamese people. Vietnam is now ranked among the world’s 40 largest economies and is in the top 20 in terms of trade. Vietnam plays a central role in 16 free trade agreements (FTAs) that connect it with 60 key regional and global economies. 

These accomplishments have set the stage for significant progress as Vietnam works toward its strategic goals, particularly in anticipation of two centenaries: 100 years of the Party’s leadership and 100 years since the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam). 

The successes of 2024 are a testament to the unity of our nation and the steadfast support of Vietnamese people at home and abroad for the Party’s leadership and the State’s policies. 

Dear listeners and fellow Vietnamese overseas,

In 2024, VOV diligently fulfilled its mission of shaping public opinion, fostering social consensus, and contributing to Vietnam’s communication and information efforts. Our programs have brought Vietnam closer to the world, showcasing our nation’s beauty, culture, and people. 

VOV is committed to serving our diverse audience, particularly the overseas Vietnamese community and international listeners, while striving to elevate our status as a leading broadcaster in the region and globally. This commitment holds even greater significance as 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the Voice of Vietnam and its VOV5. 

While we honor our proud legacy, we are also focused on improving our content, format, and audience engagement to better convey Vietnam’s story and aspirations for prosperity. 

Looking ahead, 2025 will be a year of many important national milestones. As Vietnam enters a new era of rise, I hope our overseas compatriots and listeners around the world will remain steadfast supporters of our nation’s progress and strengthen your bond with VOV and VOV5. We will always be a bridge connecting those who cherish Vietnam and wish to contribute to its success.   

On this occasion, I once again extend my warmest wishes for a peaceful, prosperous, and joyful New Year 2025 to all our listeners and the overseas Vietnamese community!
