Located in Nghinh Phong Square in Tuy Hoa, the capital of Phu Yen, Nghinh Phong Tower features a particularly impressive design.
The tower is inspired by Ghenh Da Dia, also known as The Cliff of Stone Plates, which is widely considered as a symbol of the locality, and the legend of the “one hundred eggs and one hundred children” of Father Lac Long Quan and Mother Au Co.
Roughly 22 km away from Tuy Hoa city, O Loan lagoon covering an area of 1,200 hectares is not only a tourist attraction, but also a popular venue among foodies.
The lagoon is also renowned for its array of culinary specialties such as red oysters, cuttle-fish, jelly fish, and a type of red algae that can also be used in food.
Ghenh Da Dia is categorised as one of the natural wonders of Central Vietnam as the rocky plate reef is 50 metres wide and over 200 metres long constituted by thousands of basalt columns. The reef was recognised as a national heritage site in 1998.
Ghenh Da Dia is a must-visit destination for tourists. Appearing like a giant beehive arising from the turquoise waters, the area is also home to clean beaches and various fishing boats bobbing on the surface of the coast.
Ganh Den Lighthouse, sitting on the rocky shore, features an unprecedented magnificent red rock area, dense stones, and stretches along the coast for about 500 metres in many different shapes.
It stands at a height of 10 metres, 22 metres from the sea, and has a lighting range of 17 knots.
The lighthouse, viewed as the guard at the sea gate, helps fishing boats operating in the sea to safely gain access to Xuan Dai and Vung Chao Bay.
Quang Duc Xua Ancient House is one of the most beautiful places throughout Phu Yen. It is an ideal place for visitors to learn more about craft villages or the cultural quintessence of the southcentral region.
One of the oldest churches throughout Vietnam, Mang Lang Church is imbued with an architectural style of the 19th century. When visiting the site, visitors seem to get lost in an ancient European castle that can only be seen in the movies.
Located in Vinh Xuan village in Tuy An district, Vuc Hom Waterfall is famous for its romantic mysterious beauty.
The best time to visit the waterfall is usually in November, December, January, or February.
The landscape cluster of Hon Yen, which was recognised as a national relic site in April, 2018, is an ideal destination for travelers to witness coral reefs.
In addition to boasting a range of popular tourist attractions such as Da Dia reef and Bai Xep beach, Hon Yen island attracts a large number of visitors thanks to its beautiful coral reefs on land coupled with the crystal-clear blue water.
According to local residents, the tide only recedes in the afternoon during the first few days of the month or during the middle of the lunar month, lasting only for a few days. If visitors miss this then they have to wait another 15 days for the chance of glimpsing the coral reefs again.
