(VOVWORLD) - 150 electric buses are ready for picking up or dropping off passengers of Metro Line No. 1’s stations, which will open on Sunday, said the Public Transport Management Center at the Ho Chi Minh City’s Department of Transport.

All buses are designed with a blue and yellow color scheme, featuring sunflower patterns—a symbol of Thu Đuc City—decorated on both sides.
These new electric buses will reach residential areas, schools, shopping centers and industrial zones, connecting directly to metro stations.
In addition to the feeder buses, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport also has plans to integrate the metro system with public bicycles, 4-wheel electric vehicles, and water buses.
