340 Vietnamese citizens arrive home from US

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam on Saturday and Sunday brought home 340 citizens stranded in the US because of COVID-19.

The passengers on the Vietnam Airlines flight were from various US states and included children under 18, the elderly, patients with chronic diseases, students without accommodation due to the closure of dormitories, stranded tourists, and other disadvantaged cases.

Upon landing at Van Don Airport in Quang Ninh province, all the passengers and crew members received health check-ups and were placed under quarantine.
