800 documents on display marking 80 years of general election
(VOVWORLD) -An exhibition was opened on Monday at the National Library of Vietnam in Hanoi, showcasing over 800 valuable documents, meticulously selected from many valuable sources, to mark the 80th anniversary of the first election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly, January 6.

The exhibition portrays the Vietnamese National Assembly with its continuous innovation, development, and service to the nation and people.
Documents are arranged in four themes: 1946 General Election - A momentous event in the history of the Vietnamese nation; National Assembly in the struggle for national independence and reunification; National Assembly in national renewal; and National Assembly - 80 years of advancing with the nation.
