British PM discusses Brexit with France’s President-elect

(VOVWORLD) - British Prime Minister Theresa May discussed Brexit with French president-elect Emmanuel Macron following his election victory on Sunday, the Prime Minister’s Office announced the same day.

According to a spokesman, May warmly congratulated Macron, briefly discussed Brexit, and reiterated that the UK wants a strong partnership with a secure and prosperous EU once it leaves.
