The Central Economic Work conference has released a report reviewing China’s 2012 economy and planning its economic development in 2013. The report which was released on Sunday after two days meeting in Beijing said that China will carry out far-reaching reforms promote domestic consumer demand as a strategic duty, control the real estate market, government and private investment, and protect the interests of foreign investors. Extensive and thorough reform is the key to stabilizing Chinese economic growth. The conference said the government will expand investment in infrastructure projects through long-term development funds, promote urbanization, and expanding and maintaining FDI into China.
