Michelin published its first-ever guide including Vietnam in June 2023, CNN wrote, adding that only four restaurants were awarded a Michelin star, including Hibana by Koki at the Capella Hanoi.
The restaurant’s head chef Hiroshi Yamaguchi is a visionary master of teppanyaki, a technique involving cooking on a teppan or metal griddle, according to CNN.
Hibana by Koki is located in the lower level of boutique hotel Capella Hanoi, a short distance away from Hanoi’s Sword Lake and Opera House, which are famous destinations for Hanoi’s foodies. Hibana by Koki is the first restaurant in Hanoi to feature Japan’s teppanyaki techniques.
