At Phu Van Lau and Ngo Mon Square in the afternoons, from 2pm to 5pm, kite clubs will fly the kites in an activity called "Vietnamese wings".

Huynh Tien Dat, Director of Hue Festival Center, said “Hue kites are unique in shape and style, hobby of Hue people is also different from other regions. Senior citizens play kites. The festival is an occasion when we want to maintain this hobby and make it more accessible to the younger generation. We organize experiential spaces to teach children how to make kites, nurture their love and let the elders return to their childhood time and the space they used to live in.”

The festival runs until April 23.
