(VOVWORLD) - Various meaningful activities are underway to mark the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Physicians’ Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2025).

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long visited Da Nang C Hospital, where he expressed hope that the hospital would continue to excel in providing quality healthcare services.
Long said: “Da Nang C Hospital needs to continue to promote solidarity, strive for greater achievements, and contribute significantly to protecting and improving public health. The hospital must uphold its reputation as a trusted medical institution, especially in caring for senior officials and the people of Da Nang and the Central Highlands region.”
On the same day, Can Tho Central General Hospital held a ceremony to mark the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Physicians’ Day and present the title of "Excellent Doctor" to 42 doctors, nurses, and medical staff in recognition of their outstanding contributions, dedication, innovative initiatives, and efforts to enhance the quality of medical services.
The Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee also held a celebration, awarding prestigious state titles to collectives and individuals who have made significant achievements in healthcare and public health improvement
