(VOVWORLD) - The Health Department of Son La province celebrated Vietnam Physicians' Day (February 22) on Saturday, recognizing the dedication of medical workers.

During the event, 27 doctors were honored with the title of Emeritus Doctor, while 37 individuals received the Prime Minister’s Certificates of Merit and 6 collectives and 30 individuals were presented with the Health Minister’s Certificates of Merit.
Vice Secretary of the Son La Provincial Party Committee, Lo Minh Hung, commended the achievements of the provincial health sector over the past 70 years. He urged the sector to enhance the quality of human resources and adopt innovative operational methods to better serve the public.
