Communications for ethnic groups on National Assembly elections
(VOVWORLD) - Communications on the elections of the National Assembly and People’s Councils for the 2021 - 2026 term will be enhanced to inform everyone from all walks of life, particularly ethnic people, of the proportion of ethnic deputies in legislative agencies.

At a conference held by the Assembly's Ethnic Council and the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs in Hanoi on Friday, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Ethnic Council, Nguyen Lam Thanh, said, “We are sending out the message to inform ethnic people of their civic responsibilities, and the electoral legal procedures. They will learn about the criteria of National Assembly deputies in order to elect qualified people.”
Voters should carefully consider candidates’ CVs, including good knowledge of policies for ethnic groups as well as the customs and conditions of ethnic communities.
